The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in Corner Brook arrested a 39-year-old woman Wednesday for uttering threats, assault causing bodily harm, and mischief to property at Western Memorial Hospital.

According to police, these incidents are alleged to have occurred between Sept. 1 and 5.

The RNC said a female victim of the assault received what is believed to be a non-life threatening injury.

The accused was detained in custody and was scheduled to appear in provincial court later today.
