RNC seeks help to solve case of suspicious vehicle fire

The RNC is continuing to investigate a suspicious vehicle fire that occurred Tuesday on Old Pennywell Road in St. John’s.

Approximately 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, RNC patrol officers responded to the fire inside a fenced lot adjacent to a commercial property. The vehicle was engulfed in flames.

RNC fire investigators have determined that the fire is suspicious in nature and are seeking the assistance of the general public.

Anyone who may have seen any suspicious persons or vehicles in the immediate area prior to the fire is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
