Two injured in two-vehicle collision

Two people were taken to hospital this afternoon with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Goldstone Street and Thorburn Road in St. John’s.

The two injured were in the same vehicle.

The RNC, St. John’s Regional Fire Department and ambulance responded to the scene. The accident occurred shortly after 2 p.m.

Traffic has been disrupted in the east-bound land heading into the city.

The RNC investigation is continuing.
