While passenger ferry service provided by MV Northern Ranger is suspended until further notice, the contractor, CAI Nunatsiavut Marine Inc. will be providing scheduled air service from Happy Valley-Goose Bay to ports north to Nain.
The provincial government released information today on arrangements for the following chartered flights.
• Mondays departing from Happy Valley-Goose Bay to ports north to Nain;
• Fridays departing from Nain to ports south to Happy Valley-Goose Bay;
• Saturdays to accommodate passengers for the ports of Black Tickle and Rigolet.
For passengers travelling throughout the week, arrangements can be made by contacting CAI Nunatsiavut Marine Inc.
Freight shipments will be accommodated by the MV Astron, a vessel operated by Labrador Marine Inc. currently providing freight service to coastal Labrador.
Further information and bookings for both freight and passenger service can be obtained by contacting CAI Nunatsiavut Marine Inc. at 1-877-896-7075 within Canada or 1-506-858-9963 internationally, or by visiting www.labradorferry.ca.
