Khadr is bad medicine. Canada will rue the day he's back on our streets. As for Dallaire, somebody aptly described him as an old fart. Most appropriate.

Khadr is a terrorist. His family were terrorists. He killed civilians and military persons. Teen agers who commit murder are often treated as adults by the law. Why should teen terrorists be any different. Keep him out of Canada!

As a nurse who has worked in the Youth Criminal Justice System, I challenge your opinion that "teen agers who commit murder.....treated as adults". In actual fact we've change the philosophies of how we approach young people in the system based upon the changes from the Youth Offenders Act to the Youth Crimincal Justice Act as delineated in Bill C-7 back in 2004. This process in a nutshell charges and sentences youth following a comprehensive trialling of all contributing/confounding factors to their circumstances. The individuals level of accountibility therefore as a 'dependent' citizen and one with the inability to formally process circumstantial thought is weighed heavily in these decisions. Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with the actual act before making such generalized accusations that any teen crime is one in the same to terrorist activity.

When is the Canadian public going to wake up and ignore the rantings of Senator Dallaire. He was a failure as a soldier, failure as a Liberal Senator and ow a failure as an advocate for Canadian justice in wanting to return this terriorist to Canadian soil. Just as these terrorists are attacking American Embassies and killing their personnel. Dallaire wants to bring this piece of crap back to Canada . Its time for this old fart to take up residency in Libya.

Fred...how old/young are you? What is your appreciation of what Gen. Dallaire did or in your perspective did not do overseas????? It is appauling and quite frankly infuriating that there is anyone in our country who would use 'failure' in the same sentence with Gen Dallaire's name. It is hard to think of there being another kind of Candian Hero with his level of genuine integrity and tenacity to be seen in our lifetime. What do you do for a living anyway?? Clearly not try to right the wrong's made by your like-minded shallow low-life attitude that clearly has no appreciation for true advocacy on a global scale. Your argument involvling the bombing of the American Embassy is weak. These are two extremely individual events. Non-related. Labelling people as 'pieces of crap' is just an insult to yourself, as well as what should be your well-respected reputation as a fellow Newfoundlander.
