I feel it's time for concert promoters to get the idea out of their heads that Newfoundlanders and Labradorians are so starved for entertainment, they'll pay good money to see just about anything. This is the first time I've heard of this group/troupe/ensemble/whatever they are. What happened to concert promoters actually PROMOTING their talent? I'm not sure if this particular act cancelled because of low/slow ticket sales, but it wouldn't surprise me - especially if no reason was given to the media outlets. I'm sorry but just having a Facebook page doesn't cut it, folks.

Jayson a very smug and narrow minded comment... Just because you haven't heard of this amazing vocal-musical Celtic family/group doesn't mean no one else has...... Granted they're not a packaged C&W band some of us are tired of hearing, nor a big-ticket rock band, they are a great snag for this town to opens their minds with and enjoy Celtic root music at its finest... My wife and I are sorely disappointed at the news of a cancelled show. Hope they are all healthy and that it was slow sales opposed to tragedy that made it necessary to do so.

Poor ticket sales?? Great group but haven't done much since the late 80's.
