Although I have not made my mind yet on the merits of the Muskrat Falls Debate, I have to two points to make about this story: 1. I think that Todd Russell and the Labrador Metis group are mis-guided. Before they can begin to argue for their rights and piece of the pie, they need to be granted official aboriginal status. 2. It is so blantantly obvious that Todd Russell is positioned here to help the Liberal cause behind the scenes. I bet that Todd Russell and Yvonne Jones meet regularly in Southern Labrador to drum up their next plan of attack. As I said, I'm not pro-Muskrat of anti-Muskrat, but, this just reeks of the Liberal "old boys club" workings behind the scenes.

Didnt Todd learn anything from his Federal Election loss? Maybe he will sink the old Metis the same way.

...native land, traditional hunting ground, aboriginal lifestyles, way of life, cultural heritage and so on. These groups who represent such a small percentage of the population somehow who make these claims will ultimately suggest "we will negotiate" and swap such powerful ties to the land for $. The rest of us on our 50x100 lot just pay for it. These groups are such hypocrites.
