Torbay businesses fined for failing to file tax returns

Two Torbay businesses were fined $1,000 each today in provincial court in St. John’s after guilty pleas were entered to charges of failing to file 2010 corporate tax returns.

Trinity Equipment Rentals Limited and Trinity Development Ltd. have since filed all outstanding returns with the Canada Revenue Agency.

Trinity Equipment Rentals Limited was given 60 days to pay the fine while Trinity Development Ltd. must pay within 30 days.
