Police in northern Labrador are trying to determine why multiple incidents involving broken windows have been reported in the community of Nain.

According to a news release issued late-Monday by Nain RCMP, four windows were broken at a home on Tuktuk Street Sept. 8. The next day, two windows were reportedly broken at the Husky Centre Arena.

Four more incidents were reported on Sept. 15. Early that morning, two windows were found to be broken at a home on Middlepath Road. Five windows were reported to be broken on the front and side of the OK Society building at approximately 11:45 p.m. that same day.

Two rear windows of the local justice building and three windows at Jen Haven School were also reportedly broken on Saturday.

Police said it did not appear that attempts were made to enter any of the buildings, adding it is not known at this time whether the incidents are connected.

Nain RCMP are asking anyone with information on these cases to call 922-2862 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Probably won't have to look too far or too hard for who did it.
