It was a story that shocked the province, and a trial that was followed by many.

Nelson Hart had been convicted on March 28, 2007 of murder in the drowning deaths of his twin three-year-old daughters in Gander Lake on Aug. 4, 2002.

Now, Hart will get a new trial.

The Newfoundland Supreme Court of Appeal on Monday ordered a new trial for Hart, granting his appeal of the conviction.

Hopefully the original judgement will be reinstated on appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.

In an earlier post that you choose not to post, I said something similiar to what Eli said, so I do not understand how your choose and pick. Justice is needed for these two innocent little darlings for their horrific unbelievable deaths AT THE SAME TIME !!!! Are there any more suspects ?

Hopefully when the legal wrangling is over & done with and this clown and his mother make up their minds which lawyer is satisfactory for them, they don't lose sight of the fact two helpless little girls are dead! Nobody but him and those helpless little girls on the wharf on a calm day. At the age of two it's not likely they just decided to walk the plank.

I have to agree with Harry. Getting sick of the headlines and then reading half a story. Why not just post the entire article online? Posting half a story doesn't make we want to go buy the paper. It makes me want to look elsewhere and support another news site/organization/program.

When stating my feelings in an earlier post about the Nelson Hart case, I must have said something "outside the boundaries" of what you would print.
