An 18-year-old male is facing several charges in connection with a series of events early this morning in St. John's.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says he's been charged with break and entry, attempted break and entry, being disguised with intent, theft, arson and several breaches of court order

Around 3:20 a.m., while police were investigating a report of a vehicle fire in a parking lot on Torbay Road just south of McDonald Drive, the RNC received a complaint of a possible break and entry at a business further north on Torbay Road.

With the assistance of the RNC K-9 unit,a suspect was located in the area of Logy Bay Road.

Police say it was determined that the vehicle was stolen at the scene of another break and entry at a residence in the Field Street area.

The teenager is expected to appear in court today.

It is not right to judge someone from an article. This happens to be my brother. And he is a follower and is not capipable of doing this. He was with another man yesterday who is in his 30s. And i am assuming influenced him into doing this. In my opinion no man in there 30s should be hanging out with a teenager. And he should have left my baby brother at a play ground to play in the sand box. Because he is only a child. And does not deserve this.
