Amaruk Golf Course damaged by vehicle

Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP are investigating a report of vandalism at the Amaruk Golf Course this morning.

In a release, the police said it appears a vehicle was driven on a fairway and a green, causing significant damage, rendering the course unusable.

This matter is still under investigation.

Anyone with information about the incident are asked to contact the Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP at 709-896-3383 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477. Informants can also text information to TIP190 or use the secure web tips @ www.nlcrimestoppers.com.

Nothing has changed in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. These are the same ignorant punks who have no respect for other people or their property. They'd drive their skidoos through your front door and out the back at 2:AM. The work that goes into the making of a good golf course means nothing to these young Neanderthals. To them, a golf green is only grass that looks too good and needs to be torn up.
