RNC seeking witnesses to serious assault

The RNC continues to investigate a serious physical assault on a 21-year-old man and is requesting the public’s assistance in locating individuals who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information about it.

On Friday, Sept. 14, between the hours of 3 a.m. and 6 a.m., the victim was in the area of Peachy Town Road and Peachy Town Access Road in Conception Bay South when the assault took place.

Two males attacked the victim and then fled on foot. The victim received serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

Investigators with the Major Crime Unit would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Major Crime Unit at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
