People bear-sprayed outside bar

Several people outside a club on George Street Thursday night were apparently sprayed with bear spray.

Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers responded to the incident at 2:48 a.m.

One person was transported to hospital for medical treatment. The investigation is continuing.

Well Tim.-, it is nice to know that your morbid imagination is not taxed with anything too strenuous. What the hell does it matter what bar these sadistic SOBs frequent? Or do you want to be a vigilante when you grow up?

  The Telegram newsroom checked with the RNC, who said the incident occurred in the middle of the street. The police did not provide the exact location.
