Late evening theft, assault on Water Street

A 20-year-old man has been charged with theft and assault on Water Street around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said at 12:40 a.m., the man breached the conditions of his release and was detained for court in this morning. He is now facing an additional charge of breaching the condition of his release.
