Man, woman arrested after illegal drugs seized

Several charges are pending against a Tilton couple after RCMP officers found illegal drugs in a residence in the community Thursday night.

Trinity Conception District RCMP showed up at the residence with a search warrant and found a quantity of marijuana, hashish, prescription pills and a firearm.

The man and woman were taken into custody and released early this morning. They are to appear in provincial court in Harbour Grace on charges at a later date.
