The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has charged a 33-year-old Corner Brook man with impaired driving, following a report from a concerned citizen.
According to police, a complaint was received around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, reporting a vehicle driven in an erratic manner in the Elizabeth Street area.
The RNC stopped the vehicle on Union Street and administered a breathalyzer test on the driver.
He was subsequently charged with impaired driving and breach of a court order and was released to appear in court on Nov. 27.

The RNC in Corner Brook also received a complaint around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday of threats to cause death or bodily harm.
Police say charges are pending against a 26-year-old man from Corner Brook in relation to threatening statements he allegedly made to his ex-girlfriend.
