Power, telephone lines down on Cabot Street

A delivery truck has pulled down a number of power and telephone lines on Cabot Street in St. John’s this afternoon.

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department and the RNC have cordoned off a section of Cabot Street around the Lime Street, Goodview Street and Carter’s Hill area,

Wires and the mast was torn from a residence.

Newfoundland Power and Bell Aliant crews were expected on the scene.
