Note to the author, Seve Bartlett....."Bison is another name for buffalo"..... Note that Buffalo and Bison are two totally different creatures. Best of luck to Michelle and her ambitious venture !

You are correct Jerry ... North American Bison are not 'buffalo' ... true buffalo are the Cape and Asian water buffalo. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes :) It's a tremendous opportunity and I fully intend to "grab the bull by the horns" and see where it takes me !! Stay tuned

You should get the facts PAUL...these animals will be fenced in electric fencing...NOT ON THE HIGHWAY!.

Some of the best and most tasty meat you can eat! You won't go back to beef once you have had a nice Bison filet! mmmmmmmmmmmm

Best of luck! I lived out west for 7 years and bison was readily available. Even the street vendors sold bison sausages. Leaner than chicken, and delicious!

Just what we need more animals wandering the highway.

Do you see cattle roaming the highway? Get a grip, Paul.

Smart move for this lady. I'm sure you won't be able to keep up with the market demands once this meat hits the local market. If the price is realistic, the demand will be there. I've eaten it on many occasions in Alberta. Delicious!!
