A jury of six men and six women was selected this morning in the case of accused murderer Steven Neville.

The trial will begin Oct. 22 in Newfoundland Supreme Court in St. John's.

Neville, 21, of Paradise was arrested in early October 2010 in connection with the stabbing death of 19-year-old Doug Flynn.

Jury selection is underway today in Newfoundland Supreme Court in St. John’s for accused murderer Steven Neville.

Neville, 21, of Paradise was arrested in early October 2010 in connection with the stabbing death of 19-year-old Doug Flynn following an incident on Carlisle Drive in Paradise. Neville is alleged to have stabbed Flynn and another 19-year-old man during an altercation, and then ran.

All three men are believed to have known one another.

RNC officers found Neville hours later walking in the area of Ashford Drive in Mount Pearl and took him into custody.Neville also faces charges of attempted murder and several firearms charges.

The trial will begin later this month.
