Christopher William James Fergusson, arrested in St. John's by the RNC on a Canada-wide warrant, will be sent back to New Brunswick to face charges laid against him there.
RCMP officers from New Brunswick will travel to the province to escort the accused back.
Fergusson made a brief appearance in provincial court in St. John's today. The case was set over to Friday.

A Canada-wide warrant had been issued by the RCMP in Codiac, N.B., for Christopher William James Fergusson who is now in custody in St. John’s.
The 25-year-old is set to appear in provincial court in St. John's today.
He was wanted in connection with a stabbing that happened May 11 in Moncton.
According to the RCMP website, he was wanted on charges of break and enter with intent of committing aggravated assault and possessing a weapon dangerous to the public.
