RCMP investigating break and entry in Fortune

Burin Peninsula RCMP are investigating a break and entry that occurred on Piercey Street in Fortune.

According to police, a suspect was interrupted leaving a residence through a side window and fled on foot running down Harbour Drive in the direction of the Customs office. The suspect is described as being of medium build and was wearing a black hoodie with jeans.

Anyone with information concerning this incident or any other crime is asked to call the Burin Peninsula RCMP at 1-800-709-7267 or 279-3001.
