Two men injured in industrial accident

Two men were injured Wednesday in an industrial accident at Moor Frost Ltd. on Water Street in Bay Roberts.

According to Trinity-Conception RCMP, the men were working on the site, changing a tire on a mobile crane when the tire blew off the vehicle.

Both men were immediately transported to the Carbonear Hospital. One man sustained serious injuries.

The provincial Occupational Health and Safety division was advised and is conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident.
