After opening for Tom Petty at Mile One Centre last June, the Blind Boys of Alabama will be back in St. John’s this winter.

The Boys will perform at Holy Heart Theatre Feb. 8.

With a career that has spanned more than 60 years, the Blind Boys of Alabama are known for their Gospel roots and the old-school stylings they bring to music of all kinds.

The Boys are touring Atlantic Canada, performing in theatres and intimate venues.

Tickets for the St. John’s show are $49.50 plus tax and service charge, and will go on sale Oct. 19 at noon at the Holy Heart Theatre box office, online at www.holyhearttheatre.com, or by calling 579-4424. A limited number of premium seats are available for $59.50 plus tax and surcharge.
