The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is requesting the assistance of the general public in identifying people who may have information concerning a robbery at a commercial business on Paradise Road in Paradise on Oct. 8.

According to police, around 10:20 p.m., RNC patrol officers, the K9 unit, Forensic Identification Section and Criminal Investigation Division responded to a

robbery at K & D Grocery.

Police say the suspects entered the store, went behind the counter and removed the cash till before fleeing the scene on foot.

One suspect is described as about five feet, nine inches tall and slender and the second suspect is described as about five feet tall and had a small build. Police say both suspects were disguised at the time of the incident.

The night before the robbery, Oct. 7, at around 11:30 p.m., two vehicles were seen parked in front of K & D Grocery. One vehicle was a gold two-door Sunfire or Cavalier driven by a female with long blond hair. The second vehicle, a green minivan, was occupied by a heavy-set male driver and a younger smaller male in the passenger seat.

The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate this robbery.
