Police in Corner Brook have arrested an 18-year-old male after cocaine was allegedly found in a vehicle he was driving overnight Friday.
According to a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary news release issued Saturday, officers patrolling the Country Road area witnessed a vehicle being driven erratically at approximately 1 a.m.
The officers conducted a search during the traffic stop and seized approximately two grams of cocaine.
The driver, a Corner Brook resident, was charged with aggressive driving under the Highway Traffic Act. Police expect to also lay drug-related charges.
