Cocaine, cash seized by joint forces team

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) and Royal Canadian Mounted Police ( RCMP) Joint Forces Street Level Drug team seized cocaine with an estimated street value of $2,250 and $1,490 in cash from a Cox's Cove home Friday.

A 26-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, both residents of Cox’s Cove, have been charged with possession for purpose of trafficking. Both were released to appear in Corner Brook provincial court at a later date.

The RNC-RCMP Joint Forces Street Level Drug Team is continuing to investigate this incident.
