The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s General Investigation Unit is seeking the public’s assistance to identify suspects in relation to a residential break and entry on Legend Drive in Paradise.
Between 9 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 29 and 7 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, a break and entry occurred into a home under construction.
Police say 10-12 rolls of electrical wire and about 70 pot lights were stolen. The pot lights have the following codes: “LTC HV4-HRO5-18WH-PAR4” with item article number (77-1250-98995) and “LTC HV4-HRO1-18WH-PAR4” with item article number (77-1250-90086).
The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate this offence and is seeking the assistance of the general public. Investigators are asking anyone with information in relation to this incident to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
People can also provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
The RNC is also issuing a reminder that anyone in possession of stolen property can be charged criminally under the Criminal Code of Canada.
