Snowmobile stolen in Happy Valley-Goose Bay

RCMP in Happy Valley-Goose Bay are investigating the theft of a snowmobile overnight Wednesday during a break and entry at the Provincial Tree Nursery in the town.

According to police, the lock on the main gate had been cut and it appears that the suspect or suspects drove into the nursery, backed up to a skidoo trailer and stole a snowmobile. The snowmobile is a 380 Grand Touring with a black cover.

Anyone with information about this incident are asked to contact the Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP at (709) 896-3383 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

People offering tips can be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved.
