RNC seek public assistance to locate boat, motor and trailer

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is requesting the assistance of the general public in providing information regarding a theft of a boat, outboard motor and trailer from a residence on the main road in the Goulds area of St. John’s.

According to police, sometime between 7: a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, a Karavan boat trailer, licence plate number TGN-391 (serial No. 5KTBS1810CF614273) and a Lowe 16-foot aluminum boat (serial No. WC07248E212), with a 30-horsepower Mercury outboard motor (serial No. 508978), were stolen from a residential property.

The RNC is continuing to investigate this theft and is seeking the assistance of the general public. Anyone who may have any information in relation to this crime is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS

(8477). People can also provide information anonymously on the N.L. Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
