A second show has been added for fans of stand-up comedian Jeff Dunham who will perform at Mile One Centre in St. John’s in January.

The second show is set for Jan. 8. The first show was previously announced for Jan. 9.

The second show will take place at Mile One at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 8. Tickets go on sale Friday for $58, tax included, plus surcharge, at the Mile One Centre box office, or charge by phone at 709-576-7657 or online at www.mileonecentre.com.

The shows are part of the ventriloquist’s worldwide “Disorderly Conduct” standup tour.

Dunham will perform complete with his troupe of puppet sidekicks: Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Bubba J., Peanut, José Jalapeno, and Little Jeff, a mini ventriloquist dummy of Dunham himself.

Dunham’s Comedy Central special have set worldwide records for ratings and sales. “Controlled Chaos,” which debuted last fall, premiered to 8.3 million viewers. He has been named Pollstar’s No. 1 Comedy Tour in America for three years running, and has made Forbes magazine’s Celebrity 100 list of the most powerful entertainers over the past four years.

We are entitled to our opinions. It's lowbrow humour. Jerry, if you are going to insult me by saying I have no life because I don't find Dunham funny, then I can say you have no idea what good humour is.

Can't believe people find this guy funny. His tv show is so awful and unfunny, racist and filled with stereotypes. And he is not that great a ventriloquist either.

Woohoo! Two doses of thinly veiled racism, lightly seasoned with lowest common denominator stereotypes, uh, I mean satire. And puppets!!
