A 48-year-old male from Victoria was arrested on Monday after police seized drugs from his home.
According to a Trinity Conception RCMP news release, officers executed a warrant at the man’s residence and found “a quantity” of marijuana, cash, and weighing scales. Police seized those items.
The man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. Police said the man is also believed to have breached a conditional sentence order relating to a conviction for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
He is due to remain in police custody overnight before making a scheduled appearance Tuesday at Harbour Grace Provincial Court.
