Newfoundland Power is reporting power outages in the following areas of St. John’s as of about 4:23 p.m. today.

Sterling Cresent, Savannah Park, Toronto Street, Vancouver Street, Wedgeport Road, Whiteford Place, Yellowknife Street, Bradshaw Place, Airport Heights Drive, Bradscombe Street, Downing Street, Dublin Road, Forde Drive, Fox Avenue, Gloucester Place, Gooseberry Lane, Higgins Line, Johnson Crescent, London Road, Mercers Drive, Mount Cashel Road, New Cove Road, Newfoundland Drive, Belfast Street, Bells Turn, Portugal Cove Road, Quebec Street, Ridge Road, Tobin Cresent.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.

Estimated restoration time is 6:30 p.m.

The current weather is high winds and rain.
