Members of the St. John’s Regional Fire Department were called this afternoon to rescue a dog stuck on a rocky ledge on the Southside Road hills in St. John’s.
The fire department used its bucket truck to allow firefighters to reach the dog on a cliff across from the Canadian Coast Guard base.
The dog was rescued without incident and taken to the City of St. John’s Humane Services for a checkup.
