This afternoon, The Telegram will provide complete coverage of the release of the Decision Gate 3 cost estimate for proposed Muskrat Falls project.

At 1:30 p.m., our website will feature breaking stories and a live-blog from Premier Kathy Dunderdale’s press conference, which will also see the release of Manitoba Hydro International Limited’s analysis of the hydro-electric project.

Tomorrow’s edition will include comprehensive details and reaction to the estimate and analysis.

Joining Dunderdale at this afternoon’s event are Jerome Kennedy, minister of Natural Resources, Tom Marshall, minister of Finance, and Ed Martin, president and CEO of Nalcor Energy.

It sounds like you are impervious to facts and figures - even fake ones! What is the basis for your conclusions? Indeed why ask "why" - do you suppose that your comment is a miniature "faux political rally" - a majority of one if you will? Why? This is just a faux political rally, with no more significance than any other partisan purposed event. Please cover "news", not a totally BS-based unveiling of menaingless figures and more empty, loud rhetoric. Regardless of the biased purpose, financial numbers, even fake ones, are not suited to being analysed ,assessed and duly opined on in a press conference setting....but then, this governemnt is not one for sober, reasoned reflection on much of anything.
