The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s Accident Investigation Unit is seeking the assistance of the public in relation to a motor vehicle collision on Sobeys parking lot on Kelsey Drive in St. John’s, Friday.

According to police, around 6:10 p.m., a grey Honda car was travelling east on the Sobeys parking lot towards Boston Pizza when it was struck by a north-bound red vehicle. The female driver of the Honda sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The RNC believes the incident was witnessed by a driver of a black vehicle in the immediate area and the police are interested in speaking with that person.

RNC accident investigators are continuing their investigation into the collision and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or were in the immediate area to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). People can also provide information anonymously on the N.L. Crime Stoppers Website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
