RNC seeking public assistance in break and entry investigation

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit is seeking the public’s assistance to identify suspects in relation to a residential break and entry on Pennell’s Road in Conception Bay South.

Police say the break-in occurred sometime between Oct. 22 and 29. Stolen from the home were four .24 caliber Air Strike air pistols and one air rifle. The serial number on the four air pistols is R94241-401. The pistols and rifle are BB guns that are made of clear plastic and have orange tips.

The RNC is asking anyone with information in relation to this incident to contact police at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). People can also provide information anonymously on the N.L. Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
