Two men arrested in connection with cocaine seizure

Members of the RCMP / RNC joint forces drug team have arrested two men in Corner Brook for possession of cocaine.

Gerald Morrissey of Action, Ontario and Levi Gould of Corner Brook have been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and conspiracy to traffic in cocaine.

More than two pounds (945 grams) of cocaine was seized.

The accused appeared in provincial court at Corner Brook today and were held in custody to appear again on Thursday at 10:30 am.
