Tips from the public led to two drivers being charged with impaired Wednesday.
As a result of information received at 10:40 p.m., the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says a 55-year-old male was apprehended in Mount Pearl.
He's charged with impaired driving as well as operating a motor vehicle with over 80mg.
He was released to appear in court at a later date.
And at 10:47 a.m., police say a member of the public called about a possible impaired driver, and as a result, a 53-year-old female was charged with impaired driving and given a seven-day suspension.

Unfortunately, there isn't enough done by the justice system regarding impaired drivers. Some of them are caught time and time again. Maybe they will learn when they kill or mame some poor soul, and leave someone's family in heartbreak.
