Woman arrested for theft from pharmacy

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary had a busy 24 hours from early Thursday morning to this morning, responding to  214 calls for service in the Northeast Avalon area.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested for theft and breaching court orders at a pharmacy in Paradise.  She was detained for a court appearance.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for theft under $5,000 at a Conception Bay South business. He was released to appear in court at a later date.

As a result of a traffic safety stop on Patrick Street, officers arrested a 29-year-old man who was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear in court. He was held for a court appearance today.

RNC patrol services officers also observed an intoxicated man on Cowan Avenue. A records check revealed the man was in breach of court orders. He was also held in custody until a court appearance.
