Members of the RCMP and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) seized a prohibited weapon, a stun gun, brass knuckles, two bottles of Graves Grain alcohol, and a rifle from a home in Fortune Thursday.
No charges reported as the investigation is continuing.
The search was made under warrant by members of the Burin RCMP’s Customs & Excise division and the CBSA.
The search came as the result of a joint investigation launched Oct. 19 into offences against the Customs Act and the Criminal Code.
