A tip about a possible impaired driver led to a 66-year-old man being arrested Monday afternoon.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary was called to the Bowring Park area at 3 p.m. after the tip.
They located and stopped the vehicle on Brookfield Road and charged the driver with impaired driving, refusing the breathalyzer, resisting Arrest and three breaches of court orders for driving offences.
He has been held for court. His vehicle was impounded.
It was the third incident in two days where a complaint from residents in the St. John's area led to impaired driving arrest.
Complaints from residents on Remembrance Day helped police make two arrests related to drunk driving.
