Cormorant to medevac crewmember

A Royal Canadian Air Force CH-149 Cormorant helicopter from 103 Search and Rescue Squadron in Gander is enroute to carry out a medical evacuation of a crewmember on board a vessel located about 15 nautical miles east of St. John’s.

A spokesman for the squadron says there are no other details available at this time.

    Love the idea that The Tele is offering spot news coverage. One thing would help: Time stamps. When you say a chopper is "en route" it helps to know when that was happening, so if we're reading the story 12 hours later, we can look for an update and not think it's still fresh.
