MacDonald said the' timing wasn't right, based on personal and business commitments'. Cut the crap, MacDonald, you know darn well that if you ran now you'd end up being Leader of the Opposition. If and when the timing looks good, you'll run because, hey, you now don't have any personal and business comitments. lol.

With Dean not running, we are truly screwed. we all know Kathy won't get back in so that means we will be run by a party that cares more for the welfare crowd. Thank God I am leaving in 2 months.

I am neither surprised nor disappointed with this announcement; in MacDonald we would have had another form of Williams, not sue if that would have been helpful. Now the Liberals have to seek a srong candidate, get new blood and show the people they are a serious contender. The Tories are on the ropes and if a move is going to be made it has to be now. And NO, the NDP will not form a Government under Michael's; they need a new leader who is more to the center and must cut ties with labour.

He strung everyone along for a year for this?? Oh well I guess its Coady now, don't really matter anyway they are all the same! Just make sure to run some decent candidates and lowly Kent and more other boot licks will be looking for new jobs!

Here we are again, cutting the legs out from under somebody who has proven to be successful. It's amazing that we can eviscerate somebody who was considering giving something back to the province. No wonder we get stuck with the likes of Eddie Joyce and Yvonne Jones. Why would anybody else do this to themselves?

Excellent news Now the Liberals can concentrate on someone who is a genuine Liberal and not an opportunist.

Who want's to be elected leader of the opposition? Certainly not someone of Dean MacDonald's pedigree.
