So many people with so many concerns about the place of hire, however, the place can be located later. The teen is missing now is where focus is required. Perhaps it is a case (as is in many bars) where the person may appear to be working in the bar selling alcohol, when indeed it is most likely that the person is a food jockey. I don't think the bar owners DT on GS are that naive. They know that there are police down there all the time. How long before they would be shutdown of their privilege of selling anything. No, not happening! So, with that said, anyone seeing the missing teen?
- Love to know what happen

VERY INTERESTING IF NOT for stupidity. Majority going on about bars and hiring. Well I guess we should class it all. Hotels, restaurants, golf clubs ,bowling on and on. Best for last Child working. Child labour next.. From the mouth of the thinkers. Wow

Pretty sad that someone is missing and the only thing people can contrive of in the comments is to assume a liquor license breach. Bars that have kitchens can hire underage people. That's the least of problems in this scenario. I sure hope she is found safe - many teenagers that go missing are found safe in other provinces. I am hoping this is the case here, she seems like the travelling type. Fingers crossed!

Many bars hire under 19 as food servers as well, I'm sure this was the case in this situation...please god, she will be home safe and sound soon!

the bar she was working at should be held fully responsible.

What the hell is a 17 year old doing on George st working a bar. That bar should be investigated for under age employees. You have to be 19 to drink in a bar but only 17 to work there. I hope this youngster is found sound without incident and the bar charged and fined.
