Bell Island man arrested on warrant

The Bell Island RCMP is advising the public that Shawn Bickford, 37, of Bell Island has been arrested and thus the warrant for his arrest is no longer in effect.

On Friday, the RCMP issued a news release asking for any information on the whereabouts of Bickford and that there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

Bickford was brought before the provincial court on charges.
