The RNC is requesting the public’s assistance as the force investigates a break and enter and assault with a weapon on a 31-year-old man.
About 9:10 a.m. Monday, the RNC responded to a call of an assault at a residence on Feild Street in St. John’s. The male victim reported that he had returned to his home to find a man in his bedroom.
The victim was then attacked with a weapon as the suspect attempted to leave the residence. The victim suffered what are believed to be minor non-life threatening injuries in the altercation.

The suspect is described as being approximately 25 to 35 years of age, 6’4” tall, skinny build and had a darker complexion with a sunken face. The unknown male was wearing a brown hoodie and jeans at the time of the incident.
