The Telegram website offers only a sample of the stories our reporters, editors and photographers work hard to get to the public every day.

Wednesday’s full edition of The Telegram, on the other hand, contains much, much more, from news to opinion to our expanded Business section.

• A teenaged girl has been charged with assault following an incident at a St. John’s junior high. After the incident Monday at Leary’s Brook Junior High School, one girl was sent to hospital with minor injuries. Two students were suspended from school, one of them also charged by the RNC.

 • A St. John’s woman is selling her belongings to top up the amount of income support she receives. Tuesday was Michelle Laidley’s sixth day standing on the corner of Logy Bay Road and Newfoundland Drive in St. John’s holding a cardboard sign offering her possessions in exchange for money to pay veterinarian bills for her cat and to feed herself. Income support is otherwise known as social assistance.

• A St. John’s woman suspected of hitting two men — seriously injuring one of them — with a taxi she stole is expected to plead guilty to charges against her.
