Citizen alerts RNC to suspected impaired driver

A 43-year-old man was charged with impaired driving and driving while prohibited after a concerned citizen notified the RNC of a vehicle driving fast and erratically on the Trans Canada Highway, near the Brad Gushue Highway, about 10:32 p.m. Tuesday.

RNC officers located the vehicle and pulled it over in the Bonaventure Avenue-Merrymeeting Road area of the city.

The man was taken into custody to appear in provincial court this morning.

    Nov 21st....30 years ago today...Dad was killed by a drunk driver..........Remembering everything that was taken from him.....All because of someone was a loaded..huh.. what a winner...DAD LOST EVERYTHING...the drunk driver huh still got to work as a police officer...rip dad....miss you always... sad thing is things haven't changed in all that time.people still get away with it.
