Man charged with break and entry, assault

A 20-year-old man was arrested for a number of offences after the RNC was called to a residence in the downtown area of St. John’s 11:30 p.m. Tuesday after a complaint of a break and enter in progress.

The accused faces charges of break and enter, two counts of assault, two counts of making threats, and breach of probation.

The accused was held in custody for a court appearance today.
